Where We Are Located?
We are located in Tucson, Arizona, nestled up against Sabino Canyon, with a gorgeous view of the Catalina Mountains. This placement allows for tranquility and amazing views. For those of you traveling from out of state, the best airport will be Tucson International Airport.
How Long Is My Stay?
Our minimum length of stay is 35 days, however, we take into consideration the individual needs of all our residents. We find optimal benefits when committing to at least a 35 day program, but most people elect to stay longer, usually around 45-90 days. This is always a decision made by the resident as we do not coerce anyone into staying longer than they are comfortable with.
Can I Bring My Own Food And Snacks?
Here at Sabino Recovery we focus on nutrition in conjunction with our treatment modalities. For that reason we do not allow outside food or snacks. Our head Chef meets with all residents within the first 48 hours after arrival to address any dietary needs.
Do I Need A Referral?
Sabino Recovery receives professional referrals from all over the country, but it is not a requirement.
What Ages Do You Accept?
We work with individuals 18 years of age and over.
Are You Co-Ed?
Yes, we accept and accommodate all genders at Sabino Recovery. We know that people who have trauma and addictions often need to repair the beliefs they hold about and the way they relate to others. Being in-community with people of all genders allows our residents to build new, healthy relationships that might have been otherwise impossible without the tools learned here.
Will Sabino Recovery Work With My Insurance Company?
Yes. Your intake advisor will check your insurance benefits to verify that there is coverage and discuss with you the details and options that are available.
Will I Have My Own Room?
At Sabino Recovery, we have single private suites (including bathroom) and double rooms available.
Can I Keep My Cell Phone With Me?
You can bring your phone to Sabino Recovery and it will be securely placed in your locker. Your phone is accessible from 6 am-10 pm seven days a week outside of group, scheduled sessions, and meal times.
Will I Have Access To The Internet?
During your free time you will have internet access in our Internet Café.
Will My Family Participate In My Recovery? Do You Have A Family Program?
Yes, Sabino offers an intensive family program for all residents. Someone will contact family members within the first week of treatment to discuss details. Please see the full website for more information on our family program.
